Senior Lifestyle in Chicago, IL is seeking a courteous team member to greet residents, assist visitors and families, and answer telephone calls. You will help monitor safety and process work orders, incidents, and concerns with a focus on timely, professional service.

The role requires strong English communication and solid computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word). A positive, friendly demeanor toward residents and co-workers is essential. Salary is $17.05 per hour with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Three (3) months of related experience is preferred.
• You need to be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English.
• You have highly proficient computer skills. Proficiency with Outlook, Excel and Word is required.
• You are compassionate, professional, kind, engaging, empathetic and helpful.
• You have the ability to work as a part of a team and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• You possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• You can maintain a positive and friendly demeanor toward the residents and your co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and provide general assistance to visitors, prospective residents, and families.
• Answer telephone calls.
• Monitor safety systems and investigate unusual activity.
• Process reports for work orders, incidents and concerns.
• Receive and deliver packages and medications as requested.
• Maintain sign in/out logs for keys and gate passes.
• Assist other departments with administrative functions.
• Respond to resident/family/employee concerns with timely, courteous service.
