Job summary

Genoa Healthcare seeks a Per Diem Pharmacist to support multiple IA locations. You will dispense medications, provide patient counseling, and deliver high-quality service while ensuring compliance with state regulations.

Immunization administration is supported; a valid IA license and BS Pharm/PharmD are required. Travel up to 50% per schedule, with hours typically 8:00am–5:00pm, Monday–Friday across sites in Iowa.

Qualifications

Must have a Doctor of Pharmacy degree or equivalent (BS Pharmacy or PharmD).
Current pharmacist license to practice in the state of IA.
Immunizer certification or willingness to obtain within 3 months of hire.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Distributes prescription medications as directed by physicians and other health practitioners.
Provides information to customers about medications and their proper use.
Focuses on delivering superior customer service.
Ensures compliance with all applicable State Board of Pharmacy laws.
Administers immunizations as permitted by State Boards of Pharmacy.
Performs other standard pharmacy duties as needed.
Travel up to 50% to Genoa Healthcare pharmacies across IA sites.
