Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacist to perform professional duties in processing prescriptions at our Kingman, AZ location.

Per Diem Pharmacists work on an intermittent basis, providing patient counseling, dispensing medications, and immunization administration where allowed; travel up to 50% locally; schedule is typically Mon-Fri 8am-5pm with lunch 12-1.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Pharm D.
• Current pharmacist's license in the state of AZ.
• Driver's License and access to a reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use.
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service.
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy.
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy.
• Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties.
• Local travel up to 50%
