Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Per Diem Float Pharmacist to support pharmacy locations in the Lebanon, TN area. The role ensures reliable access to medications for behavioral health and specialty care patients, with typical hours Monday–Friday 8:00 am–5:00 pm and no weekend shifts.

Responsibilities include dispensing prescriptions, advising customers on medication use, and administering immunizations where permitted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD is required.
• Current pharmacist license in Tennessee is required.
• Certified immunizer or willing to obtain within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use.
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service.
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the State Board of Pharmacy.
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy.
• Performs other usual and customary pharmacy duties.
