Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a Per Diem Float Pharmacist to support the Crossville, TN location and surrounding areas. The role involves processing prescriptions, patient counseling, immunization administration where allowed, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Hours are generally Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm with no weekends or holidays. Salary ranges from $44–$79 per hour depending on full-time employment and local factors.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
Current pharmacist license in the state of Tennessee.
Certified immunizer or willing to obtain upon hire.
Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
Provides information to customers about medications and their use.
Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service.
Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy.
Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy.
Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD

Current pharmacist license in Tennessee

Certified immunizer or willing to obtain

Valid driver's license
