Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, a part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group family, seeks a Per Diem Float Pharmacist to support our Crossville, TN location and surrounding areas. The role ensures consistent access to medications for behavioral health and specialty care patients.

Responsibilities include dispensing, patient counseling, immunization administration where permitted, and adherence to state pharmacy laws. Hours are typically Monday–Friday, with no weekends or holidays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD required.
• Current pharmacist license in the state of Tennessee.
• Certified immunizer or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use.
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service.
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the State Board of Pharmacy.
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy.
• Other usual and customary pharmacy duties.
