Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a Per Diem Float Pharmacist to support Lebanon, TN area pharmacies and ensure access to medications for behavioral health patients.

Hours are generally Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm with no weekends or holidays. You will dispense prescribed drugs, advise customers on medications, and uphold high service standards while complying with Tennessee Board of Pharmacy regulations; immunization administration may be involved where allowed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Current Tennessee pharmacist license.
• Certified immunizer or willing to obtain within 90 days.
• Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use.
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service.
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the Tennessee State Board of Pharmacy.
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy.
• Performs other usual and customary pharmacy duties.
