Job summary

Rochester Regional Health in Clifton Springs, NY, seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for per diem shifts in Long Term Care. You will deliver high-quality, compassionate daily patient care in collaboration with the nursing team and support essential care tasks.

Preferred candidates are NYS-certified CNAs, age 18+, and ready to participate in a broad range of activities from personal care to vital signs, under supervision. Perks include education support and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Currently certified in New York State as a Certified Nursing Assistant
• Minimum age requirement: 18
• High School diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Read and follow residents' care cards for daily personal care needs, treatments, and therapies; consult with the nurse as needed.
• Provide personal care: bathing, toileting, feeding, transferring, and ambulation.
• Assist with personal services: laundry, room upkeep, TV/radio, writing letters.
• Direct questions to the supervising nurse and assist family as needed.
• Encourage residents' independence in activities of daily living.
• Assist with or perform procedures per policy under supervision (vital signs, specimen collection, dressings, etc.).
