• Basic familiarity with computers.

Responsibilities

• Perform medical assisting duties including vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy and prepping for procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of patient care areas.
• Assist with medication review in EMR under supervision.
• Perform point-of-care testing and ensure quality control of equipment.
• Queue prescriptions and schedule tests in the EMR (OMR).
• Schedule diagnostic and lab tests and verify insurance requirements.
