Job summary

Vista Veterinary Specialists is seeking a compassionate Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our team in Sacramento as a Per Diem member. You will greet clients with empathy, coordinate appointments, assist with emergencies, and help with admissions and discharges while ensuring excellent client and patient care.

The ideal candidate has veterinary client service experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Veterinary client service or veterinary medicine experience preferred.
• Emergency or specialty veterinary hospital experience preferred.
• Experience with EzyVet is highly desirable but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients in a friendly, helpful, and compassionate manner.
• Process appointments, emergencies, and client requests while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Prepare, review, and maintain medical records and documentation accurately.
• Educate clients about services, policies, and procedures.
• Process patient admissions and discharges, including scheduling follow-up appointments.
• Accurately process invoices and client payments.
• Update and maintain client and patient records in accordance with hospital policies and legal requirements.
• Assist with administrative tasks, including scanning, faxing, emailing, and document management.

Per Diem opportunity in Sacramento, California

Vista Veterinary Specialists is seeking a compassionate, organized, and customer-focused Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our team on a Per Diem basis. This position provides the first impression of our hospital and plays a vital role in creating a welcoming, supportive experience for our clients and their pets.

As a Client Service Representative, you will greet clients with empathy and professionalism while coordinating appointments, assisting with emergencies, processing admissions and discharges, and ensuring every client interaction reflects our commitment to exceptional patient care and outstanding customer service.

Schedule

• Per Diem position
• Shifts are scheduled as needed
• Must be available to work nights and weekends

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome clients in a friendly, helpful, and compassionate manner
