Job summary

VHC Health in Arlington, VA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the NICU on a per-diem basis. The role provides direct and indirect patient care, supervision of assigned staff, and requires strong clinical judgment in a high-acuity setting.

Qualified candidates have an Associate's in Nursing (Bachelor preferred), at least 1 year of acute care nursing, and Virginia RN licensure or compact state licensure. BLS is required; ACLS/PALS eligibility is recognized.

Qualifications

• Associate's in Nursing required.
• One year of Nursing/Patient Care in acute care required.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Virginia or compact state licensure; BLS certified.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care to NICU patients.
• Supervise assigned nursing staff and coordinate care.
• Maintain required certifications and adhere to hospital policies.
