Job summary

Brookline College is seeking a per diem BSN instructor to teach a mix of clinicals, skills labs and simulations. Shifts times can vary, offering flexibility to accommodate the nursing program schedule.

Responsibilities include preparing and grading exams, maintaining attendance and grades, mentoring students, and coordinating with nursing staff to ensure quality clinical experiences. Active RN licensure and psychiatric nursing expertise are required.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid, active RN license issued by the State Board.
• Master of Nursing or higher with coursework in nursing or education, administration (OB, Pediatrics or Psychiatry).
• Minimum 4 years’ experience as a registered nurse, providing direct patient care.
• Clinical teaching experience within the last five years (clinical teaching counts toward direct patient care).
• Expertise in Psychiatric nursing.

Responsibilities

• Teach per diem clinicals, skills labs and simulations for the BSN program.
• Prepare, administer and grade examinations; assist in final evaluations.
• Maintain attendance, grades and student records.
• Plan orientation for new faculty and supervise clinical facilities.
• Ensure health and safety regulations in clinical settings are met.
