Job summary
Workforce Solutions, partnering with Trinity Health, seeks Per Diem Clinical/Skills Lab Faculty to educate students in Skills Lab and clinical rotations. Availability is requested for Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays with varied hours.
The ideal candidate is a Registered Nurse with a BSN, educational coursework in nursing, and a track record in clinical teaching. ATI certification and BLS are expected within 30 days of hire.
Qualifications
- RN with current, unencumbered licensure in the state of practice.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution including nursing education/administration coursework.
- Experience in clinical teaching and nursing practice; ability to mentor in classroom, lab, and clinical settings.
- One year teaching nursing or related coursework preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide Skills Lab and/or Clinical site education per established curriculum.
- Plan and supervise student clinical experiences in health care facilities.
- Evaluate student performance against learning outcomes.
- Provide timely feedback on clinical performance.
- Maintain student attendance and records; assist data collection.
- Observe, instruct, and evaluate students; adapt methods for adult learners.
- Participate in governance and program activities as needed.
