Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state
• Master of Nursing or higher with nursing/education coursework
• At least four years of direct patient care as an RN
• One year of clinical teaching or clinical experience within last five years
• Expertise in Psychiatric, Geriatrics, Med/Surg, Pediatrics, OB-Gyn, or Mental Health

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with instructors to prepare, administer, and grade examinations
• Maintain attendance and grade records as required
• Plan orientation for new faculty in theory and clinical facilities
• Use adult learning principles in instruction and assessments
• Demonstrate or develop skills for online teaching activities
• Keep student records and assist with program data collection
• Submit program reports in a timely manner
• Plan and supervise student clinical experiences in facilities
• Provide feedback on clinical performance after observations
• Participate in faculty meetings and committee activities
