Job summary

UCI Health in California seeks an Anesthesia Technician to support anesthesiologists with line placement, intubation, and related procedures. The role includes maintaining and stocking anesthesia supplies, plus basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.

You will work closely with Anesthesia, the OR Manager, and Biomedical Engineering to keep equipment within expiration, clean, and ready for use. Strong organization, English fluency, and the ability to handle a fast-paced setting are

Qualifications

Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
Experience in a Level I Trauma Center or fast-paced OR environment.
Proficiency with basic math using manual calc or calculator.
Ability to rotate shifts, take call and work weekends.
Ability to speak/read/follow directions in English.

Responsibilities

Assist anesthesiologists with placement of patient monitoring lines and difficult intubations.
Maintain, order, and stock anesthesia supplies and equipment.
Provide first-line equipment maintenance, calibrations, and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with Anesthesia, OR Manager, and Biomedical Engineering to ensure equipment is within expiration dates, available, well maintained, and clean.
