Job summary

The Cataldo Education Center in Woburn, MA is seeking motivated Paramedics to serve as ALS Instructor Teaching Assistants in a Per Diem capacity, supporting labs, simulations, ACLS, PALS, and clinical education for paramedic students.

As a mentor and skills facilitator, you will help students meet OEMS standards and state protocols, instruct CPR/ACLS/PALS, and assist with exams, equipment setup, and evaluations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Massachusetts Paramedic Certification required.
• National Registry Paramedic Certification required.
• Current CPR and ACLS Certification required.
• PALS Instructor Certification preferred.
• 1+ year ALS experience and teaching/educational roles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist CEC faculty with classroom presentations, laboratory instruction, and hands-on skills training.
• Demonstrate advanced paramedic psychomotor skills according to EMS standards.
• Facilitate small-group learning, review sessions, and skills practice.
• Support simulation-based education, including patient scenarios and equipment setup.
• Provide remediation and assist with practical examinations and clinical rotations.
