Job summary

UCLA Health Center for Prehospital Care seeks a Clinical Instructor for EMS instruction in the Paramedic Education Program. The role requires leading demonstrations, supervising student practice, and ensuring learning objectives are met across shifts.

Minimum EMS experience with CA licensure (paramedic or RN) and CPR/ACLS/PALS credentials or instructor certification preferred. The 75% per diem position may convert to career, with shifts including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Current California licensure as a Paramedic or RN in good standing, or ability to obtain.
• Minimum 1 year EMS field or clinical experience.
• CPR/ACLS/PALS certifications required or instructor certs preferred.
• Availability to teach evenings, holidays and weekends.
• Ability to lift and assist with training equipment and to work in a learning environment.

Responsibilities
