The candidate will coach students in resuscitation techniques and practical exams, oversee equipment, and assist with skill labs under faculty supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; associate degree or higher preferred.
• Massachusetts Paramedic Certification and National Registry Paramedic Certification.
• Current CPR and ACLS Certification; PALS Instructor Certification preferred.
• 1+ year ALS level care experience and teaching assistant experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist CEC faculty with classroom presentations, laboratory instruction, and hands-on skills training.
• Demonstrate advanced paramedic psychomotor skills according to EMS standards.
• Facilitate small-group learning, review sessions, and skills practice.
• Support simulation-based education, including patient scenarios, moulage, and equipment setup.
• Provide individualized academic and skills remediation under faculty direction.
• Assist students in preparing for practical examinations, clinical rotations, and National Registry testing.
• Prepare laboratory classrooms prior to instruction.
• Inspect, clean, inventory, and maintain EMS equipment and supplies.
• Observe and provide feedback during laboratory activities.
• Document student participation and skills completion as directed.
