Advocate Health is seeking a per diem Speech-Language Pathologist for PRN coverage in acute care rehabilitation at Advocate Trinity with possible alignment to South Suburban Hospitals. Responsibilities include evaluating patients with speech, language, voice, cognitive, and swallowing disorders and creating care plans with family education.

Requires CCC-SLP and Illinois licensure. Position offers a pay range of $38.20–$57.30 per hour, with weekend coverage requirements to maintain active status.

Competenze

• Master’s degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited program.
• CCC-SLP certification/eligibility required.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers or equivalent within 90 days.

Mansioni

• Interpret referrals and evaluate patients with speech, language, voice, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement written plans of care and monitor outcomes.
• Discharge planning and family/patient home program education.
• Document care, progress notes, and discharge summaries per policy.
• Assist with coverage and performance improvement activities.
