Role: PEPI CFO Services Director, Digital Finance
PROFESSIONAL EXPECTATIONS:
- Expertise in Digital Finance Transformation with proven implementation experience
- Track record in assessing finance and accounting functions, implementing digital technologies like RPA, finance analytics, NLG, and predictive forecasting models to improve efficiency and transparency
- Experience in process improvement and automation within finance and accounting
- Knowledge of digital finance tools and vendors
- Experience deploying digital finance solutions in large public companies or mid-sized PE-owned portfolio companies
- Proficiency in developing predictive forecasting models
Scope Development Responsibilities:
- Engage with clients to gather information and facilitate interviews
- Define analytical scope to validate assumptions, ensuring thorough and timely analysis
- Apply industry and functional knowledge to identify business drivers and issues
- Create frameworks based on project parameters
- Derive actionable conclusions from analyses
- Manage project components and lead smaller projects independently
- Manage client expectations, identify risks, and develop contingency plans
- Develop actionable plans, lead workstreams, and design initiatives for cash flow, EBITDA improvement, and organizational structure
- Engage with senior management to obtain buy-in and communicate effectively
Leadership Expectations:
- Leverage industry expertise and prior consulting experience to guide teams and foster innovative thinking
- Maintain client relationships throughout projects
- Take responsibility for issues and deliverables
- Build and manage teams effectively
- Demonstrate strong financial acumen, including financial modeling and statement analysis
- Drive P&L and B/S accountability
- Utilize tools for change management and streamline processes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related fields; advanced degrees or certifications preferred
- Experience with digital finance technologies such as RPA, predictive forecasting, analytics, NLG, and data visualization
- Over 12 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, due diligence, restructuring, investment banking, or private equity
- Proficiency in financial modeling, data analytics, and presentation skills
- Certifications like CPA, CFA, MBA are preferred but not mandatory
