Job summary

University of Massachusetts President’s Office is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to provide functional support for PeopleSoft Financials and related enterprise integrations across all campuses and the President’s Office. This is an opportunity to contribute to both reliable operation of financial systems and the ongoing modernization of the University’s technology environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3-5 years of progressively responsible experience in IT, accounting, financial systems, or related business systems environment.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills in troubleshooting, analyzing and resolving issues.
• Understanding of business application processes, data analysis, testing, troubleshooting and system support.
• Experience with tools such as PeopleSoft Query and advanced Excel.
• Experience with SDLC activities including requirements analysis, testing, implementation and change management.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to convey complex information.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent functional support for PeopleSoft Financial applications, including Asset Management, General Ledger, and security.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application and operational issues; identify root causes and solutions.
• Develop and execute test scenarios for functionality, enhancements, and integrations.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and technical teams to analyze requirements and coordinate implementations.
• Coordinate testing efforts (unit, regression, integration, UAT) for assigned enhancements and projects.
