Job summary

Amtex Systems Inc. is seeking an ERP Finance Business Analyst (PeopleSoft Financials) in Washington, DC.

The role supports the Corporate Finance transformation by analyzing and documenting processes across AP, Expenses, Purchasing, Cash Management, and GL. The position is hybrid (3 days onsite per week) with duration through 12/31/2027, requiring extensive experience with PeopleSoft Financials, PeopleSoft Query, and Oracle SQL, plus strong stakeholder facilitation and cross-functional

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of Business Analyst experience.
• Minimum 5 years supporting ERP-based business processes.
• Strong understanding of corporate finance functions including Accounts Payable, Expenses, Purchasing, Cash Management, and General Ledger.
• Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft Financials.
• Experience creating business process maps, workflow diagrams, and requirements documentation.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills.
• Experience using PeopleSoft Query and Oracle SQL for data analysis and validation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional business and technical teams.
• Ability to work independently in a stakeholder-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate business stakeholder workshops to capture and document Level 3 and Level 4 current-state corporate finance processes.
• Create and maintain detailed process maps and swim-lane diagrams using Visio.
• Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements for PeopleSoft Financials initiatives.
• Work closely with finance, business, and technical teams to identify process gaps and recommend improvements.
• Support business functions including Accounts Payable, Expenses, Purchasing, Cash Management, and General Ledger.
• Develop business requirements documents, functional specifications, use cases, and supporting project artifacts using client-approved templates.
• Perform data analysis utilizing PeopleSoft Query and Oracle SQL to validate business processes and support decision-making.
