Job summary

TechDigital Group in Washington, DC is seeking an ERP Finance Business Analyst to support the IMF's Corporate Finance transformation by analyzing and documenting processes across AP, Expenses, Purchasing, Cash Management, and GL, and by supporting PeopleSoft Financials enhancements.

The role involves collaboration with business stakeholders, IT teams, and project leadership to capture current-state processes, gather requirements, and drive process improvements for successful delivery.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Business Analysis experience.
• Minimum 5 years supporting ERP-based processes.
• Strong understanding of corporate finance functions incl. AP, Expenses, Purchasing, Cash Management, GL.
• Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft Financials.
• Experience creating process maps, workflow diagrams, and requirements documentation.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation.

The ERP Finance Business Analyst will support the International Monetary Fund's Corporate Finance transformation initiative by analyzing and documenting business processes across Accounts Payable, Expenses, Purchasing, Cash Management, and General Ledger functions. The role will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and project leadership to capture current-state processes, gather requirements, identify process improvements, and support the successful delivery of PeopleSoft Financials enhancements.

Experience

10+ years of Business Analysis experience, including at least 5 years working within ERP environments.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain detailed process maps and swim-lane diagrams using Visio.
• Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements for PeopleSoft Financials initiatives.
• Work closely with finance, business, and technical teams to identify process gaps and recommend improvements.
• Support business functions including Accounts Payable, Expenses, Purchasing, Cash Management, and General Ledger.
• Develop business requirements documents, functional specifications, use cases, and supporting project artifacts using client-approved templates.
• Perform data analysis utilizing PeopleSoft Query and Oracle SQL to validate business processes and support decision‑making.
• Coordinate stakeholder reviews and obtain formal approval and sign‑off on requirements and process documentation.
• Maintain project documentation and provide status updates on assigned business analysis activities.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and successfully implemented.
• Assist in issue resolution, testing support, and validation of delivered business functionality.
• Support ongoing corporate finance optimization efforts and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of Business Analyst experience.
• Minimum 5 years supporting ERP-based business processes.
• Strong understanding of corporate finance functions including Accounts Payable, Expenses, Purchasing, Cash Management, and General Ledger.
• Hands‑on experience with PeopleSoft Financials.
• Experience creating business process maps, workflow diagrams, and requirements documentation.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills.
• Experience using PeopleSoft Query and Oracle SQL for data analysis and validation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working with cross‑functional business and technical teams.
• Ability to work independently in a stakeholder‑driven environment.

Certifications (Preferred)

• CBAP or equivalent Business Analysis certification
• PeopleSoft Financials certification
• Oracle ERP-related certification (preferred)
