Job summary

Peoples Bank is seeking a Customer Service Representative for our Oak Harbor Financial Center. This part-time role (20 hours/week) focuses on delivering friendly, accurate service and supporting teller transactions.

You will handle customer inquiries, perform account maintenance, and recommend banking products while maintaining professional etiquette and strong communication. On-site in Oak Harbor, WA.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years' customer service and cash handling experience.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Word, and Excel preferred.
• Strong communication and multi-tasking skills.

Customer Service Representative

Oak Harbor Financial Center

Office Hours: Monday - Thursday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm & Friday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm

Position: Part-time 20 hours per week

As a Customer Service Representative, you will provide new and existing customers with high-quality service and specialize in assessing customer needs. You will be able to perform teller transactions and maintenance with high regard to detail, anticipate customer needs, and recommend products and services in a professional, courteous, and friendly manner.

Your Primary Responsibilities Would Include:

• Providing our customers with a high level of service.
• Accurately processing customer checking, savings, loan, and CD transactions.
• Performing customer and account level maintenance.
• Processing customer inquiries such as account, loan, debit card, account transfers, and research requests.
• Assessing customer needs and making product/service recommendations or appropriately refer to our banking partners.

Requirements

What You Bring to the Team:

• You have a High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent.
• You are enthusiastic about providing a high level of customer service.
• You have a minimum of two years' customer service and cash handling experience.
• You preferably have some experience with Outlook, Word, and Excel preferred.
• You can perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
• You have strong interpersonal skills including professional etiquette and service mentality.
• You are skilled at business communication, both verbal and written.
