• Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate banking products and services.

Customer Service Representative

Coupeville Office

Coupeville, WA

Office Hours: Monday – Thursday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm & Friday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm

Position: Full-time 36 hours per week

As a Customer Service Representative, you will provide new and existing customers with high-quality service and specialize in assessing customer needs. You will perform teller transactions and account maintenance with attention to detail, anticipate customer needs, and recommend products and services in a professional, courteous, and friendly manner.

Responsibilities

• Providing customers with a high level of service.
• Accurately processing customer checking, savings, loan, and CD transactions.
• Performing customer and account level maintenance.
• Processing customer inquiries such as account, loan, debit card, account transfers, and research requests.
• Assessing customer needs and making product/service recommendations or appropriately referring to banking partners.

Qualifications / What You Bring to the Team

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Enthusiastic about providing a high level of customer service.
• Minimum of two years’ customer service and cash handling experience.
• Experience with Outlook, Word, and Excel preferred.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal skills including professional etiquette and service mindset.
• Skilled at business communication, both verbal and written.
• Strong professional demeanor and commitment to confidentiality.
• Ability to travel to other Peoples Bank locations and off-site for meetings and/or training as required.
