Job summary

Banner Life Insurance Company is seeking a People & Workplace Project Manager to lead HR and workplace initiatives, bring structure to complex work, and collaborate across teams to deliver measurable business impact.

You will plan from initiation through implementation and follow-up, partnering with HR leaders, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery and adoption in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• PMP certification required or expected within a defined period
• CSM preferred
• Prosci, ACMP or CMI certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Translate business needs into actionable People & Workplace project plans with charters, objectives, scope, assumptions, constraints, dependencies, priorities, resources, budgets, schedules and measurable outcomes.
• Establish and maintain project governance, schedules, resource plans, RAID logs, dependency management, decision logs, status reporting, communications, and steering routines.
• Coordinate HR leaders, stakeholders, partners and vendors to drive planning, decisions, issue resolution, readiness and execution.
• Identify and manage risks, dependencies, regulatory considerations, scope changes, and operational readiness needs.
• Provide delivery reporting, recommendations, and decision support to HR leadership and key stakeholders.
• Support change management, communications, stakeholder engagement, and adoption activities.
• Lead or support workplace and operational improvement projects (facility enhancements, HR processes, systems, services).
• Lead project closeout, capture lessons learned, and assess benefits for future delivery.
• Provide limited operational support to HR initiatives as needed.
