Job summary

Hooglee in San Francisco is seeking a People & Workplace Operations Specialist to own the day-to-day operations spanning People Operations, workplace operations, and employee experience. This is a hands-on, high-impact role focused on onboarding, benefits administration, and office events that shape a memorable employee journey.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in People Operations or HR Operations.
• Hands-on onboarding/offboarding, benefits administration, HR systems, and performance cycles.
• Startup experience or workplace operations background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own onboarding and offboarding, including documentation, equipment, scheduling, and cross-functional coordination.
• Manage and maintain People systems and tools (HRIS, benefits platforms, ATS, etc.).
• Support benefits administration, HR documentation, and compliance processes.
• Coordinate performance review cycles, engagement surveys, trainings, and other People programs.
• Maintain accurate employee records and handle confidential information with discretion.
• Support development and implementation of People processes as the company grows.
• Partner with leadership to create a thoughtful, consistent employee experience.
• Take on special projects related to company growth, culture, and employee experience.
