Job summary

Pilot Company is seeking a Technology Intern to join the People Technology team in Knoxville, Tennessee for the summer of 2027. You will help optimize HR systems, especially Workday, and gain hands-on experience at the intersection of technology, HR, and business operations.

You will gather feedback, analyze usage, and propose enhancements while collaborating with business partners and IT. This full‑time, in‑person internship runs June 7–August 13, 2027 at our Knoxville headquarters.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science or related field.
• Strong communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with system integrations or process mapping is valued.

Responsibilities

• Support People Technology initiatives including Workday and other HR platforms.
• Gather and analyze user feedback to identify adoption pain points and opportunities for improvement.
• Drive data-informed recommendations by analyzing usage, processes and feedback.
• Collaborate with HR, IT and business partners to enhance employee experiences.
