Job summary

Abode is seeking a People Systems Support Specialist to temporarily assist the People Systems team with maintaining HCM platforms and ensuring data integrity across UKG and Paylocity.

You will handle data entry, audits, reporting, training and light troubleshooting, partnering with IT and HR to implement upgrades and resolve issues while providing excellent user support in a busy office environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years of experience with HCM systems and implementation.
• Reliable transportation to work in an office, attend in-person meetings, and offsite events.

About The Role

The People Systems Support Specialist will temporarily provide system implementation support to the People Systems team. The Support Specialist will complete dual maintenance, data entry, data validation, and audits across HCM systems to support data accuracy and integrity. The Support Specialist will support troubleshooting, resolution of data issues, reporting and data related activities, and provide user support and training on HCM system processes and functionality.

How You Make An Impact:

HCM Systems Support

• Provide back up support to the People Systems manager and team.
• Maintain Abode HCM systems and serve as a resource for all HCM-related items.
• Support various system projects to automate and integrate HCM.
• Assist in the review, testing, and implementation of HCM upgrades.
• Collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrades or fixes.
• Support timecard and timekeeping activities, including dual-entry and employee questions.
• Provide employee support during dual-entry, launch, and post-launch through chat, phone, and other support channels.
• Monitor the UKG/People Systems inbox and respond to, resolve, or appropriately route inquiries.
• Support Open Enrollment activities, including data validation, reporting, and employee support.
• Provide light troubleshooting and elevate complex system or data issues to the appropriate HCM/technical team.

Data & Reporting

• Maintain the accuracy and integrity of employee data in the HCM database.
• Perform dual maintenance and data entry across UKG and Paylocity, ensuring accuracy and consistency between systems.
• Perform data verification, audits, reconciliation, and quality checks to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Perform data extraction, reporting, ECF support, and other data-related activities as needed.
• Create data reports and analysis as requested.
• Execute mass data systems changes and troubleshooting.
• Support ongoing data entry, system audits, and data integrity initiatives as needed.

Quality Improvement

• Recommend process improvements and innovative solutions that improve HCM effectiveness, data quality, and user experience.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and projects related to HCM systems and processes.
• Provide job aids and deliver training for all new and existing employees on new HCM system processes/functionality.
• Maintain current knowledge of HCM system changes, enhancements, and updates.
• Provide quality control and verification of data received.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

How You Meet Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• 2-4 years of demonstrated experience with HCM systems and implementation.
• Reliable transportation or access to a vehicle is required to work in an office, attend in-person meetings, and offsite events.

Our Benefits and Perks:

• Competitive pay: $40.00 - $41.00 per hour
• Temporary Position: The duration of this role will be from September 2026 - May 31, 2027 with a possibility of extension based on business needs.
• Work arrangement: Onsite position; may be eligible for hybrid or remote work, subject to supervisor approval and factors including job responsibilities, remote location, and employee suitability.
