Job summary

Havenside is seeking an HR Business Partner to serve as the embedded people leader for field and office teams. You will translate business objectives into people strategies, manage performance cycles, and partner with executives on workforce planning and culture.

This role requires regular presence in the Pittsburgh area offices and active participation in crew meetings. The successful candidate will have 5+ years of HR experience, strong employment-law knowledge, and a track record of

Qualifications

• Five+ years of human resources experience, including business partner capacity.
• Experience supporting hourly, field-based or skilled trades workforce in construction/home services.
• Proven track record partnering with senior operating leaders.
• Strong knowledge of employment law (FLSA, wage acts, FMLA, ADA, etc.).
• Demonstrated capability leading organizational change and partnering with outsourced providers.

Responsibilities

• Translate Havenside's objectives into workforce and people strategy. Align field capacity with project backlog and expansion plans.
• Advise on organizational design and role structures; document job descriptions identifying essential functions.
• Own recruiting strategy for hourly, field, and customer care roles; build durable talent pipelines.
• Lead performance management and development cycles; coach managers on feedback and calibration.
• Manage employee relations, risk, safety compliance, and changes with the Head of People and leadership.
