The Building People, LLC is seeking a dynamic People Strategy Lead to guide the employee experience in our growing organization. This role partners with leaders to strengthen culture, support managers, and develop high-performing teams.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of HR experience, thrives in entrepreneurial environments, and can combine hands-on HR expertise with strategic thinking to address workforce challenges and improve retention across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to develop people strategies that support business objectives, employee engagement, retention, and workforce effectiveness.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on personnel matters, employee relations concerns, workplace conflicts, performance issues, and policy interpretation.
• Conduct employee relations investigations and provide recommendations for resolution while ensuring fairness, consistency, and compliance.
• Coach managers on leadership effectiveness, communication, employee engagement, performance management, and talent retention.
• Support performance management processes, including goal setting, employee development discussions, corrective actions, and performance improvement planning.
• Partner with leadership to proactively identify and address personnel risks, workforce concerns, retention challenges, and employee performance trends.
• Develop and implement employee engagement and retention initiatives that strengthen culture and improve the employee experience.
• Support organizational development and change management initiatives that enhance team effectiveness, collaboration, and accountability.
• Ensure consistent application of company policies, HR best practices, and employment regulations.
• Track HR metrics and workforce trends to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and organizational effectiveness.
