Job summary

Ollie’s Bargain Outlet, Inc. is seeking an Employee Relations Business Partner to support field leadership with associate relations, performance management, compliance, and policy interpretation.

This role collaborates with Regional and District Leaders to promote fair practices and a positive workplace culture across stores. The position conducts investigations, provides input on corrective actions, and ensures adherence to employment laws and company standards.

Qualifications

• ]High School diploma or equivalent is preferred)
• An associate relations/HR knowledge plus compliance awareness is required
• Minimum of 1 year in HR or demonstrated learning through internal programs
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations to ensure compliance
• Strong communication and presentation abilities
• Ability to operate HR processes and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Develop and update HR policies to ensure legal compliance
• Communicate HR policies, laws, standards and regulations to employees and management
• Provide guidance on benefits and HR programs
• Handle associate relations issues and investigations
• Guide background check results and disciplinary actions
• Support performance improvement plans and coaching
• Assist with store-level talent activities and succession planning
• Prepare and present training for new hires and leaders
• Compile reports from HRIS and maintain records
• Participate in Talent Review Sessions and IDP planning
