Job summary

BG Foods seeks an HR Generalist to support plant operations and employees, reporting to the Senior HRBP. You will advise on employee relations, performance, recruitment, engagement, and compliance, while supporting payroll and onboarding processes.

Key duties include policy interpretation, leave management, data reporting, and collaboration with training, EHS, and management to meet operational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related field.
• SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
• Experience with HRIS systems and Workday preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support employee and labor relations, performance management, and policy interpretation.
• Coordinate recruitment for bargaining unit and hourly positions.
• Administer leave management and collaborate with payroll and benefits.
• Provide data and reports to HR and plant leadership for data-driven decisions.
• Ensure legal compliance and maintain confidential HR records.
