Job summary

Walmart is seeking a supervisor-level professional to oversee staffing, develop associates, and drive operational plans at our Arvada, CO location. You will recruit, train, mentor, and assign duties while promoting a culture of belonging and values alignment.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• For facilities that sell firearms, I acknowledge that the position for which I am applying will require successful completion of a firearms- specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Coordinates completes and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
• Supports plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs, identifying and communicating goals and objectives, building accountability for progress.
• Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring and training, mentoring, assigning duties, providing recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset in the workplace.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports Walmart's mission, values and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans.
• Demonstrates integrity, acts with accountability and builds high-performing teams while fostering a culture of belonging.
