Job summary

Salm Partners in Wisconsin seeks a People Operations Specialist to support production staff, ensure safety and compliance, and enhance daily operations. You will work under the Director of Operations and HR to optimize staffing, onboarding, and training programs.

The role demands strong communication, bilingual abilities, and meticulous timekeeping. This position is full-time and on-site, with opportunities to influence safety and partner engagement across the plant.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; business degree preferred.
• Experience with HRIS and time-keeping systems preferred.
• Experience with Sage ERP manufacturing software strongly preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish/English is recommended.
• Excellent communication and training abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage production team daily including staffing, scheduling, absenteeism, timecards and time off requests.
• Coordinate onboarding and training plans for new employees.
• Support payroll data accuracy and timekeeping audits.
• Assist with partner engagement activities and staffing goals.
• Collaborate with support teams to optimize production and engagement.
• Maintain safety and compliance with GMP, SQF and USDA requirements.
