Job summary

Salm Partners in Denmark, WI is seeking a 3rd shift People Operations Specialist to support production staffing, onboarding, training, and payroll data accuracy. You will coordinate with operations, HR, and trainers to ensure smooth daily workflows and compliance with safety and quality standards.

The role requires strong communication, multi-tasking, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; business degree with HR emphasis preferred.
• Experience with HR systems and time-keeping systems is preferred.
• Knowledge of Sage financial software or related ERP manufacturing systems strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Staffing and scheduling for production teams, including absences and timecards.
• Onboarding and coordinating training plans for new employees.
• Coordinate engagement activities and celebrations with managers.
• Assist hiring managers with staffing goals and personnel changes.
• Audit timekeeping data and support payroll processing.
• Monitor attendance and address issues with supervisors.
• Collaborate with support teams to optimize production and engagement.
• Participate in Safety Committee and other duties as assigned.
