Heritage Wealth Advisors in Richmond, VA is seeking a Human Resources Intern to support the firm's Internal Operations team. This internship provides hands-on exposure to core HR functions and builds practical skills for a career in HR, people operations, talent management, or organizational development.

Working closely with the Human Resources Manager, you'll gain experience across recruiting, onboarding, HR systems, and organizational initiatives.

Qualifications

Pursuing a bachelor's degree or certification in HR, business, psychology, or related fields.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.

Responsibilities

Support recruiting efforts through job postings, candidate communications, interview coordination, and ATS maintenance.
Assist with onboarding activities, preparing orientation materials and tracking tasks.
Gain exposure to HR operations, including employee records management and reporting.
Contribute to employee development initiatives and training coordination.
Participate in employee engagement efforts, internal communications, and culture-building activities.
Learn HR technology and processes, including systems and workflows.
Contribute to special projects, policy updates, and strategic HR priorities.
Build professional skills through mentorship and increasing responsibility.
