Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of HR principles and practices including employee relations, hiring, training, performance management, and employment law.
• Ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
• Skills in researching legal compliance and analytic ability to formulate best practices.
• Effective oral and written communication skills and ability to present reports to management.
• Proficiency with HRIS systems (Lawson, Kronos, SharePoint).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and conduct orientation and onboarding for new hires.
• Promote open-door policy and positive employee relations.
• Plan and manage employee recognition programs.
• Lead employee engagement activities and community initiatives.
• Maintain employee communications centers (newsletters, posters, memorandums).
• Conduct investigations and prepare reports with recommendations.
• Assist supervisors with disciplinary actions.
• Conduct exit interviews and advise management on trends.
