Job summary

State of Oklahoma is seeking an HR Benefits & Onboarding Coordinator to enroll employees in benefits and retirement plans, manage onboarding tasks, and assist with HR transactions in Workday. The role requires coordinating New Employee Orientation, handling inquiries, and supporting across multiple offices.

The position offers a comprehensive benefits package, retirement match up to 7%, and generous leave and holiday provisions. Occasional travel within Oklahoma is required as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, law, or related field, or an equivalent combination
• Experience with managing employee benefits and onboarding
• Experience using Workday for HR transactions
• Strong communication and confidentiality skills

Responsibilities

• Enrolls and updates employees’ benefits and retirement (OPERS and Pathfinder)
• Facilitates New Employee Orientation (NEO) and guides onboarding tasks in Workday
• Processes personnel transactions and tracks approvals in Workday
• Responds to inquiries and manages HR shared email
• Travels across Oklahoma for events and benefits sessions
• Maintains employee records and generates HR reports
• Supports HR team with projects and meetings
