Johnsonville, LLC. is seeking a 3rd Shift People Ops Specialist in Denmark, WI. The role provides administrative and operational support to production staff, ensuring compliance with safety, food safety, GMP, SQF, and USDA standards. Reports to Operations Director with a dotted line to HR.

You will manage staffing, onboarding, training, and timecard processes, while collaborating with multiple teams to optimize production and engagement. This is a hands-on People Ops role on the third shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; business/HR degree preferred.
• Experience with HR systems and timekeeping systems preferred.
• Knowledge of Sage or ERP manufacturing software highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage production team daily including staffing, scheduling, absenteeism, approval of timecards and time off requests, contract partner needs, as well as other daily business needs of the department.
• Coordinate onboarding and training for new employees, and partner with trainers for ongoing skills development.
• Support payroll accuracy by auditing timecards and coordinating with timecard approvers.
• Collaborate with safety teams to maintain compliance with GMP, SQF, USDA, and safety standards.
• Assist with partner engagement activities and staffing goals across departments.
