Job summary

Jones Dairy Farm in Fort Atkinson, WI, seeks a 3rd Shift Supervisor to oversee production, shipping and maintenance, ensuring safety, quality and efficiency. The role includes planning, directing, and coordinating operations, training staff, and ensuring compliance with HACCP and USDA guidelines.

You will lead personnel, manage workloads, and drive continuous improvement while meeting safety and quality goals. This is a fast-paced manufacturing environment with long shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• High level of organizational and communication skills with the ability to motivate and direct people.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office and experience with an ERP program.
• Experience in manufacturing environment; conflict resolution; union environment; Process Safety Management (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Ensure availability of materials based on projected requirements.
• Ensure safety compliance across the department and site.
• Administer policies, work rules, and labor contracts fairly.
• Lead and direct personnel to meet production and shipping goals.
• Maintain HACCP, quality specifications, and USDA guidelines.
• Coordinate CMMS activities and maintenance planning.
• Achieve efficiency targets for yields, labor costs, and waste.
