Sellenriek Family of Companies is seeking a People Systems & Operations Specialist to support payroll operations, HR systems, onboarding, and employee data management. This hands-on role requires regular interaction with field employees, supervisors, and leadership in a fast-paced construction environment.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and approachable, capable of balancing technical responsibilities with employee needs while maintaining accurate records and timely support.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in payroll, HR operations, or a related role preferred.
• Experience with HRIS/HCM platforms required; Paycom experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, technical, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing operational needs.

Responsabilités

• Support payroll processing, reviewing employee information, timekeeping records, earnings, and deductions for accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee pay questions.
• Assist with payroll audits, reconciliations, and reporting as needed.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and confidential employee information.
• Maintain employee information within the HRIS/HCM system and assist managers with system access.
• Support system updates, testing, reporting, and process improvements.
• Coordinate onboarding requirements and HR system setup for new employees.
• Conduct new hire orientations, both in person and virtually.
• Provide onboarding paperwork and timekeeping setup assistance to employees.
• Prepare and maintain HR and payroll reports, supporting audits and data accuracy.
• Partner with HR, payroll, and operations teams to support changing business needs.
