Job summary

Skybound is seeking a Payroll & HR Operations Specialist to manage semi-monthly payroll across multiple locations and entities, while supporting onboarding, changes, leaves, and HR systems. You will work with the People & Performance team to ensure data accuracy, answer questions, and streamline processes.

Bonus points for experience with multi-state payroll, payroll tax administration, year-end payroll, HR systems, or process improvement; reports to Sr.

Qualifications

• Experience in payroll operations and HR processes across locations.
• Ability to handle sensitive employee information with discretion.
• Experience with HR and payroll systems.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Own semi-monthly payroll across multiple locations and entities.
• Process and audit regular, supplemental, and off-cycle payroll including bonuses and tax elections.
• Review timecards and payroll data, resolve discrepancies, maintain records.
• Support payroll tax administration, filings, reconciliations, and year-end W-2s.
• Coordinate onboarding, changes, leaves, terminations across payroll and HR systems.
• Prepare workforce reports and People team materials.
