Job summary

Northeast Texas Community College is seeking a Human Resources Specialist to serve as the initial information point for staff. The role involves recruitment support, onboarding, payroll processes for Work4College, and maintaining HR records with a focus on confidentiality.

The position requires strong communication, organization, and teamwork within a fast-paced college environment. On-site work in Mount Pleasant, TX is expected, with opportunities to support HR projects and events.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in Human Resources preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the central HR hub supporting recruitment, onboarding, and employee inquiries.
• Maintain information on the NTCC Portal and keep the online employee directory updated.
• Process Work4College payroll and assist with related orientation and events.
• Coordinate applicant tracking, posting openings, scheduling interviews, and candidate communications.
• Maintain confidentiality of payroll, benefits, personnel, and employment information.
