Job summary

Hope Human Services, LLC in Vancouver, WA is seeking an HR Coordinator to support onboarding, employee relations, leave management, and benefits enrollment. This role is ideal for someone starting an HR career and working closely with the corporate HR team.

You will assist with recruitment coordination, HRIS data entry, and maintaining employee records while upholding HR policies and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Education or certification in Human Resources is a plus.
• Minimum 1 year of human resources experience.
• Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices.
• Outstanding communication, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Effective presentation skills.
• Ability to handle confidential data with discretion.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and e-mail.
• Proficient in multitasking and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Takes initiative and is a team player.
• Demonstrates flexibility, adaptability, patience, and timely response to all requests.
• Embraces the diversity of our workforce and community and treats others with respect, without prejudice or bias.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality; consistently reports to work on time prepared to perform duties of the position.
• Able to pass a criminal background check with the State of Washington and maintain clearance during employment.
• Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Administer onboarding of new hires and maintain personnel files.
• Handle employee relations, investigations, and workplace injury reporting.
• Coordinate benefits enrollment and leave of absence administration.
• Support recruitment activities and interview coordination.
• Ensure accurate HRIS data entry and recordkeeping.
