Job summary

Neural Earth is seeking a People (HR) Operations Manager to own payroll, contractor payments, and the full employee lifecycle across two entities in the US and abroad. You will manage W‑2s, onboarding, and ATS, while partnering with leadership on workforce planning and policy management.

You will own the end‑to‑end hiring process, compensation, and negotiations through offer, ensuring precise payroll administration and a strong, trusted HR function within a lean team.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years in People Operations or recruiting.
• Hands‑on Rippling administration experience.
• Hands‑on ATS experience (Ashby or similar).
• Multi‑state US payroll tax registration and compliance experience.
• Experience paying international contractors and supporting two or more legal entities.
• Ability to accommodate occasional travel as needed 10%.

Responsibilities

• Manage payroll and contractor payments across two entities and US/global scope; payroll administration, onboarding/offboarding, W‑2 management, and AP for contractors.
• Own the employee lifecycle end to end: policy management, documentation, device management, leave, and offboarding via HRIS.
• Lead complete hiring process end to end: headcount approval, job descriptions, compensation, candidate screens, and offers.
• Provide People partner support to leaders and employees, advising on solutions and workforce planning.
• Shape culture and rhythms to keep the company connected and enable high performance.
