Job summary

The Asian American Foundation (TAAF) seeks an HR Manager in New York to lead recruitment, onboarding, benefits, performance, and employee experience. You will partner with the Head of People to translate strategy into practical programs and oversee HRIS data, compliance, and reporting.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in HR with a collaborative mindset, strong structure, and a solutions-oriented approach to build a best-in-class employee experience. Hybrid in-office schedule in NYC is expected.

Qualifications

• Progressive HR experience across life cycle: recruitment, onboarding, benefits, and offboarding.
• HR operations knowledge, employee relations, compliance, and performance management.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Head of People to manage recruitment and hiring processes from posting to offer.
• Design onboarding, learning, recognition, and engagement experiences for employees.
• Coordinate onboarding/offboarding and exit interviews; support performance cycles.
