Role Description

The People Operations Manager is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Houston, TX. This position oversees end‑to‑end people operations, including employee lifecycle processes, onboarding and off‑boarding, HR policies, and compliance for both domestic and international entities. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include maintaining accurate HR records, managing benefits administration, handling employee relations matters, and supporting performance management and feedback processes. The role will collaborate closely with leadership to refine organizational structures, improve workplace culture, and support recruitment efforts when needed. The People Operations Manager will also analyze HR data to recommend process improvements, ensure adherence to labor regulations, and support scalable people practices in a growing, entrepreneurial environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in people operations or HR management, including employee lifecycle, benefits administration, and HR compliance.
• Strong skills in HR systems and tools, with the ability to maintain accurate data and generate actionable reports.
• Proficiency in employee relations, conflict resolution, and creating fair, inclusive policies and practices.
• Ability to design and improve processes, workflows, and documentation that support a growing, multi‑entity organization.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, including working closely with executive leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Knowledge of U.S. employment law; experience with multi‑state or international HR practices is a plus.
• Experience in entrepreneurial, fast‑paced, or multi‑entity environments, preferably within investment, hospitality, or sports‑related sectors.
