In this role, you will serve as both a strategic partner and a hands-on HR resource, supporting talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, performance management, compensation and benefits administration, and organizational development. Working closely with leadership and the HR team, you will help strengthen workplace cultures, build scalable HR processes, and support the continued growth and success of our portfolio companies.

The ideal candidate brings sound judgment, discretion, strong organizational skills, and the ability to balance day-to-day HR responsibilities with broader business priorities.

What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary based on experience
  • Performance-based bonus opportunity
  • Comprehensive health, dental, vision, life, disability, and flexible spending benefits
  • Company-paid basic life insurance and long-term disability coverage
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid time off and holidays
  • Professional development opportunities
  • Employee reward and recognition program
What You'll Do:
  • Support multiple businesses: Manage day-to-day HR operations across portfolio companies and affiliated entities while helping establish consistent processes and best practices.
  • Drive talent acquisition: Partner with leadership to identify staffing needs, coordinate recruiting for exempt and non-exempt positions, manage job postings and candidate screening, coordinate interviews, prepare offer letters, and support onboarding.
  • Manage the employee lifecycle: Oversee onboarding, offboarding, employee records, HRIS administration, benefits enrollment, and other essential HR processes.
  • Strengthen employee relations: Respond to employee and supervisor inquiries, support conflict resolution, and participate in disciplinary meetings, terminations, workplace investigations, and other sensitive matters.
  • Ensure compliance: Help maintain compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations, including wage and hour requirements, I-9 verification, OSHA requirements, and workplace policies.
  • Administer HR programs: Support compensation, benefits, leave administration, workers' compensation and unemployment claims, performance management, employee recognition, training, and development initiatives.
  • Support organizational growth: Assist with workforce planning, succession planning, organizational development, restructuring, and operational improvement projects.
  • Coordinate training and development: Track required and optional training, continuing education, professional certifications, safety training, anti-harassment training, and employee assessments.
  • Maintain confidentiality: Handle sensitive employee, compensation, ownership, and executive information with the highest level of discretion and professionalism.
  • Stay current: Monitor HR trends, employment law updates, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to help improve HR practices across the portfolio.
  • Contribute where needed: Take on additional HR initiatives and special projects that support the organization's evolving business needs.
What We're Looking For:

We are looking for an HR professional who combines strong technical knowledge with a practical, solutions-oriented approach and the ability to build trusted relationships across a variety of teams.

Required qualifications and skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3–7+ years of progressive human resources experience.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Analytical thinking and effective problem-solving skills.

Preferred experience:
  • Experience supporting multiple locations, business units, or legal entities.
  • Background in a family office, private equity, multi-entity organization, or fast-growing entrepreneurial business.
  • Experience supporting acquisitions, integrations, or organizational change.
