Job summary

Grüns is seeking a hands-on People Partner to coach managers and run the operational engine of HR. You will own payroll, leaves, benefits, onboarding, and employee lifecycle end to end, while guiding policy and performance. This role supports a remote HQ with biannual off-sites.

You will steward payroll accuracy, leave administration, and benefits enrollment, ensuring compliance and culture alignment as Grüns scales in Q1 2027.

Qualifications

• 5+ years scaling HR support in a fast-growth company.
• Hands-on payroll administration experience.
• Experience running leaves (FMLA, ADA, state leaves, STD, parental) and workers' comp.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for policy, performance, and growth.
• Coach managers through feedback, documentation, and terminations.
• Run People Team 1:1s and exit interviews; surface culture themes and training gaps.
• Administer leaves and accommodation requests; oversee workers' comp.
• Own payroll accuracy across HQ, field, and international teams; resolve issues with partners.
• Own onboarding and offboarding; ensure paperwork and final pay are correct.
• Keep employee data clean to back decisions with data.
• Support Q1 2027 payroll, benefits, and retirement platform changes.
• Turn repeat work into AI-supported workflows.
